         The St. Paul’s Parochial School Mechanicville, NY has graduated many students in its almost 100 year existence, throughout its halls and classrooms linger thousands of memories of nurture, discipleship, correction and love. 

         Today, when I watch alumni walk through her door, I see wonderful feelings of nostalgia cover them, almost un-expecting; names, stories and feeling emerge that haven't been considered for decades. Whether the intensity of the Crowd during a roaring basketball game, the butterflies felt when drawing the curtain on opening night, or the sun shining off the glittering staircase they travelled tirelessly day after day; feelings that have been left abandoned for 30+ years.

        However the story doesn't end there, as of 2020 "All Things are Made New" and the once bustling halls and class rooms are filled with people once again! People who decided, the "time has come" to start living “their life", a simpler life, one without the burdens of maintenance and repair, one with quality over quantity, one that prolongs and promotes life at its core. The once "American dream" is no longer a priority; the prevail has shifted to spending time with the people you care for the most and the activities you have come to love.
